Not a bad day on the punting front Cape express run a good race when looking like the winner a furlong out but had to be contented with 3rd place, our second runner Gala Evening finished a good second at 8/1 giving us a small profit on the bet. No bets today......
Went to watch the mini soccer finals this morning, and what great weather we where blessed with for these young players... Watched our U11's lift the same Cup as we won this time last year. A great morning was had by all!! On to the afternoon and we turned up to play football and found that the team we where due to play couldn't raise a team so the game was called off to the disappointment of all our players.
Had a very tasty Sunday Roast Dinner of Roast Lamb and all the trimmings followed by chocolate pudding and Fresh Cream.....
Onto my head injury and still supporting a nice black eye and a nasty gash to my head.
